Job Duties:
The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for designing/developing, implementing, and administering Moneytree’s computing network infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain Moneytree’s internal, external, and wide area networks
- Establish network specifications by conferring with users; analyze workflow, access, information, and security requirements; design router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols
- Maintain network by evaluating network performance issues, including availability, utilization, throughput and latency; plan and execute the selection, installation, configuration, tuning and testing of equipment; define network policies and procedures
- Recommend upgrades, patches, and new equipment
- Work with vendors to design and validate existing and new systems to improve performance and services
- Collaborate with IT Team Members to create and support backup and disaster recovery systems
- Monitor Moneytree’s networks and reports on their health and performance
- Maintain documentation of current networking structures
- Provide technical support and guidance to users
- Communicate and escalate issues

- Knowledge of overall networking methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of networking and firewall protocols, network performance tuning, routing, network design and implementation
- Problem-solving, strategic planning, multi-tasking, organizational focus, quick study, and technical zeal
- Specific networking protocols would include but are not limited to DNS, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DHCP, SNMP
- Specific routing protocols would include but are not limited to EIGRP, BGP, OSPF and MPLS
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- At least one of the following certifications: A+, N+, MCSE, MSA, MCP, CNE, CNA, CCNA
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Network Administrator capacity, or with similar responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience with managing and troubleshooting WiFi installations, Solarwinds NPM/NCM, Firewalls, Network Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, IPS/IDS systems and VPN equipment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- An adequate workspace at home and reliable internet access, pursuant to Moneytree’s Work-From-Home Policy
- Available for on-call shifts and overnight work, as needed
- Able to occasionally travel to Branch locations, Corporate Office, or data centers, as needed
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $90,000-$130,000/year, depending on experience
- This is a remote, full-time, work-from-home position
